Oral history with John Laird, Lauren Crux and Jerry Solomon discussing the Capitola Police's discrimination against gay men in 1980. Police officers pretended to be gay and interested in other men at the beach in order to get their personal information and arrest them. Their names and addresses were then published in the Santa Cruz Sentinel, risking the lives and careers of these individuals. |
